FACEBEAST! We’re running a Kickstarter to help fund the printing of our comic book. Pictured is a preview of the cover we’re working on for the next issue.

If you’re unfamiliar with the comic, Facebeast is about a super hero with a super beard. As a beard enthusiast, I felt there weren’t nearly enough super heroes out there with beards. So I made one, and I made his beard the source of his powers! Our hero uses his beard to fight crime, think of it as a shape shifter. He can use to grab, punch, whip, etc. As you might be able to tell, this is not a typical super hero story.

Right now our Kickstarter is hovering around $3700. Since our initial goal was $1000, we’re already fully funded, and then some! So now we’re using the Kickstarter as a pre-order for the book. To ensure your copy, just follow the link and pledge. We also have a lot of cool rewards still available including art commissions and Facebeast merchandise.

BEARDS! BEARDS! BEARDS! In case you didn’t know, I launched a Kickstarter campagin for a comic my girlfriend and I are working on called Facebeast. In short, the comic is about a super hero who gets his powers from his beard. It’s a little offbeat, largely influenced by The Tick, and kind of awesome.

We launched this Kickstarter to help fund the printing of the second issue, the origin story. It has already reached its goal, so right now we’re just securing funds to help us do a convention tour this year and to help print more issues of the comic in the future. We added some neat rewards which include copies of the comic, art commissions, shirts, posters, original pages, and more. Also, we’re trying to hit a few stretch goals at the moment that will reward backers even more.
